Ava's Christmas Preschool Program!

Ava had her first preschool program last weekend! She loves preschool so much and loves her teacher Miss Wendy! I was so excited to watch her since it was her first program but we ended up being a little late and I had to throw her on the stage in front of everyone for the first time and she was a bit shy, timid and embarrassed. I was thinking she would at least sing. Nope! She just sat on her chair the whole time! It was pretty funny! But the highlight of the night was when she was paired up with another little boy to do a dance and she just stood there holding his hand instead of dancing and he ended up sobbing the entire song! It was pretty funny! I'm hoping next year will be more successful!

Breakfast With Santa! 2010

I love this time of year! There are so many fun places to see and so many fun things to do with the kids! My dad has made it a tradition for about 4 years now to have Breakfast with Santa at Thanksgiving Point. Now that Ava is getting older she can really enjoy it! She loved all the art activities, games, dancing, eating but especially getting to sit on Santa's lap letting him know what she wanted this year! I thought she would be a little timid but she wasn't scared at all! This year she let him know that she wants a "rainbow dress" don't know why but she is obsessed with rainbows and anything that has lots of colors in it!

I Love this little Angel!

Maclaren Kid Tester! Part 2

After the first few days of playing with the Maclaren Junior quest activity centre toys, they are still Ava's favorite toys to play with! The stroller is definitely her first choice, but she also loves the cot. She likes the stroller so much, that it made the "cut" to sleep on her bed with her (only her favorite toys get that privilege!) The first thing she does when she wakes up, is get her stroller to take upstairs with her while she eats! In the beginning, she would put only her favorite dolly in it and take her for a stroll. Now she puts her Christmas bullfrog and other favorite toys in the stroller, and takes them with her all around the house! She also has the cot in her bedroom where she puts her doll during nap and bedtime. She takes her doll out pretty frequently to hold her, give her the bottle, and burp her. When she is done, her dolly goes straight back into the cot with a blanket! She also enjoys the travel bag in which she puts her fake credit cards, makeup and jewelry; she then carries it around like it's her purse. Her least favorite at this point, is probably the day time rocker (only because I don't think she knows what to do with it yet. I'll have to show her how it works again!) She loves the Maclaren Junior quest activity Centre so much that I know it will be her favorite toy to play with for years to come!

Beginning Travel Kit:

I love the yummy lavender smell of the set because it's so calming! I first used the Cocooning Massage Oil on my baby Londyn. I wasn't sure how she would react because she has extremely bad acid reflux, but she loved it! She just lay quietly, almost as if she was in a daze, the whole time I was massaging her; she didn't make a peep! I later gave her a bath and used the calming bath milk and the soothing delicate soap. I love how natural both of these products feel and smell. The soap was gentle on her skin and made her feel so soft. The bath milk smelled great and was very calming and soft as well. After her bath, I sprinkled on the absorbing dusting powder that soothes and prevents irritation. I also applied some Protecting Nappy Balm which protects babies bottoms and soothes irritated skin~it did exactly that! Londyn was already a little red and had a bit of a rash. She immediately felt so much better, and her bottom healed quickly. I also really enjoyed the comforting room mist and celebration candle. Londyn sleeps in her bassinet in our room, so I sprayed the room mist and lit the candle in our bedroom. They both smelled so good and were very calming and soothing. She slept great (and we did too!) We all benefited from these natural and wonderful products!

Maclaren Kid Tester! Part 1

I was so excited when I found out I had been chosen to be a "Maclaren" kid tester! I knew Ava would be thrilled to test out the Maclaren Junior quest activity centre. I also received Maclaren's beginning travel kit for my baby daughter Londyn.

After receiving the activity centre, I told my three year old daughter, Ava, that I had a surprise for her. As soon as we opened up the box, she started jumping up and down with excitement! "A stroller," she said. "Just like Mommy's!" She immediately ran downstairs, grabbed her favorite dolly, put her in the stroller and started pushing her around! I started taking the other items out of the box, which in addition to the Quest umbrella stroller, included a nightime travel cot with carrying case, a daytime rocker, and a matching travel bag. They were packaged very nicely, and it took me no more than ten minutes to assemble everything! Once Ava saw the rest of her surprises, she was even more excited! She grabbed her dolly out of the stroller and put her in the brand new cot. She said the cot is her favorite, but she couldn't stop pushing the stroller around! She was so happy with everything! Ava is a very fast, energetic little girl, and a little rough at times. All of the products have held up great and will obviously last a long time!

Beginning travel kit: I loved the little box the travel kit came in! The only problem I ran into was that one of the bottles had leaked while being shipped, which caused the other bottles to be a little sticky. Unfortunately, I won't have as much product to test with the bottle that leaked. The beginning travel kit came with cocooning massage oil for baby, comforting room mist for baby, absorbing dusting powder for baby, calming bath milk for baby, protecting nappy change balm, celebration natural wax candle, as well as soap! I love the smell of each of the products which are "all natural" and "organic." which is very important to me! I know Londyn will feel and smell wonderful and relaxed after we are able to test all of these products. Thank you Maclaren; I am so excited!

Csn Stores Review!

I was so excited when CSN stores contacted me to do another review! There are so many things to choose from that I had a hard time selecting just one! I decided to pick something out for my little daughter Londyn. I chose the Fisher-Price Melodies and Lights Deluxe Gym. Fisher-Price has a great reputation, so I knew I was in good hands! The playmat came with six toys; a soft hanging monkey, a soft toucan with jingle, an elephant with soft ears, a spinner with beads, a parrot with a paddle spinner, and a frog character mirror. The mat also comes with two satin butterflies that fly above the baby while colored lights pulsate on and off and music plays! The music plays at 3 different modes, so you can change the settings to play the way that you like it best. Londyn is a little young to enjoy the toys right now, but she loved all the lights, the flashing colors and the fun music. The toys are all unique and have fun features with bright colors! I love the option that the mat can be used as a "tummy time" as well. The toys also link to the bottom of the mat where there is a large crinkle peek-a-boo leaf with a shiny underside, sun ray ribbons, and a soft tiger tail. The mat was extremely easy and quick to put together, as well as take down to store. Even though Londyn is three months old, she really enjoys this mat. It will be exciting to see her progress through all the different features of the mat in the future. I know we will get lots of play out of this, as my three old daughter Ava also loved the mat. She kept saying that it was hers and not her sister Londyn's! She wanted to continually crawl under the mat like a baby and play, so I guess I chose a fun toy for both girls! Thank you CSN for another great opportunity!
