I'm so sad. We had to cancel are Cabo trip due to the Swine flu. My mother in-law kept going back and fourth about it. But came to a decision that we should wait and go later. I was leaning towards staying home if they went anyways. Ava is sick and has been for two weeks now. She is on anti-biotics and can't seem to get over it. Today she woke up with a cough. When is this going to end. :( So I figured if something terrible happend to her I wouldn't be able to live with myself. I think better safe than sorry! We are going to shoot for July now. Hopefully everything is under control by then. Thinking we might head to Utah for a week For mothers day and my birthday on the 12th. Maybe I can see some of my friends and we could do a cake and ice cream get together and just visit?

Sorry about your trip! We just got back from Mexico and everyone thinks we have swine flu... brother. Thousands of people died from the regular flu since January and this flu has killed just over a hundred. The media and their scare tactics!!

Sad! My friend Heather and her husband had to cancel their trip to Cancun yesterday....but it will be better to go when you can enjoy it.
I hope Ava is feeling better and I wish I was going to be in Utah a little earlier. We will be there the 19th of May until the 17th of June, so you will have to come back down.
Sad to hear that you had to cancel your trip but I don't blame you for doing that. I hope your little one gets better soon. Have a happy birthday and Mother's Day. Mine is on the 11th and my husband's birthday is the same day as yours!
I am sorry about your trip. I wish we could get together sometime when you come to Utah this weekend. We just got back from Disneyland and were going to go to San Diego, but we didn't because of the swine flu..DARNET. Oh well.

Sorry to hear about your trip! After all the hoopla and the school closings in DFW, I haven't really heard much about it anymore. Evidently all the hype wore off. Of course, living in a small town of 300 helps out alot.
