Dad Comes for A Visit!

My dad is so sweet and thoughtful! He made a special trip up to Seattle to finish the gate in our backyard so I could stop being so parranoid. He was only able to come up for the weekend but we made time to go and check out the museum of flight. I have heard so many good things about it. My dad being a former Marine was in Heaven! He said he could have spent all day there! It was so interesting seeing all the planes and how much they have changed.

Ava is OBSESSED with planes and trains so she loved every minute!

This plane was amazing! Only a one seater but it was an old spy plane. I guess the fastest plane ever!

A few weeks ago we met up with Cousins, Chris and Sarah and took the girls bowling. This was Ava's first time bowling and she Loved it!

Here's a few more pictures of our Utah trip. I just realized I took a ton of pictures on the hike but not very many after that. We had tons of fun! We also went to Swiss days in Heber, they have the best food and boutiques there! President Uchtdorf was there and it was seriously paparazzi in Utah. He was with his wife and they couldn't walk anywhere without people surrounding him and shaking his hand but he was so sweet and kind and stopped to talk to everyone. His wife loved Ava's hair! We got to go to the last buzz game of the year. I can't believe how hot it was. Ava wouldn't sit still of course so my dad decided to take her to the playground and when I went to check on her she was black from head to toe. She was in heaven running around going up and down the slides a million times. I also was able to go to my good friend Deena's baby shower. It was so good seeing old friends and Deena looks so good and I can't wait to meet her little girl!

Timpanogos!!!

Yes, I made yet another trip to Utah. I can never get sick of seeing my family and friends ever!!! This time it was to hike Mt. Timpanogos. A goal my dad made to before he found out he had stage 4 lung cancer and was determined to do no matter the circumstance. My dad is a very determined man and will do anything he sets his mind too. I am so proud of him for accomplishing this goal! I can only imagine how hard it was for him to breathe at that kind of altitude let alone the breaking down the chemotherapy does on his body. He is an amazing man and I am so greatful I was able to be apart of this. Even though I wasn't in tip top shape I was so glad I made it!

The Fair!

It's that time again! I love the greasy fatty food, yummy sweets, rides and people watching! There's always interesting people at the fair! This was the first year Ava could go on any rides. I wasn't sure how she would react but of course she loved every minute! and sobbed when the rides were over! My camera was acting weird so I didn't get a bunch of pics but heres a few!
